Dio Week!

With the announcement today of the U.S. tour dates of the Heaven and Hell Tour, (from 3/5/07) I can hardly hold back my excitement. It was announced that today that the tour would be coming to Cincinnati on May 8th. Cincinnati often gets passed over for the major tours, so the fact that we landed a date on the much coveted Heaven and Hell tour is a major victory for our City and for yours truly.

(By the way, you may be a lucky one too, as 18 other dates were annouced besides Cincinnati, Ohio, Check Here to see if your city has a date so far .)

Tony Iommi was on the Eddie Trunk show tonight. He mentioned that after the U.S. dates they would head over to Europe, and return to the U.S. to do more dates, so
if your city isnt listed, you may still get a date sometime later in 2007!!

To celebrate my excitement, I am kicking off Dio Week! I will review some select discs from the Ronnie James Dio Discography, leading up to next week’s 2nd week of March Metal Madness, and the Metal Knights review of Dio - Dream Evil.

To Kick off Dio week it only makes sense to start off with the sure fire disc that the godfather’s of metal will surely be playing quite a bit of on tour, Heaven and Hell.
